With the sound of the printing machine while it’s heating up in the rhythm to fold your favourite magazine, pumped full of endorphins, the only comparable thing is the engine of Porsche when you hit the gas pedal!
More than 20 ladies from BiH and the region celebrated International Women's Day with the fascinating PORSCHE EXPERIENCE of unforgettable atmosphere. Ladies Day On Track organized by Porsche has celebrated women, their successes, power and achievements. Thus, at Grobnik Automotordrome, where the ladies joined the international community SHIFT by Porsche, they all showed that they were powerful and fervent as they could be inspired by Porsche. Driving car by car, model by model, confident that every turn of the wheel will take them to their desired destination – they felt that everything worked perfect for them! Simply, nothing could be compared to that! The force and euphory which push the limit of your mind, guide your passion, your future to perfection! We have known it since we tried it. Imagine your every day is like that! Among the best, where fantasy becomes reality, where mediocrity is not accepted, that is where unforgettable stories are created.
Phenomenal PORSCHE EXPERIENCE, organized by teams of this brand from Zagreb, Ljubljana and Sarajevo, started with the meeting the instructors who were with us during the testing of Porsche cars and with short instructions about what we needed to do to make our experience complete. Ladies divided into four groups tested sporty and SUV models, in all performances – driving on a track, slaloms and off-road.

You know that sentence from a commercial “Money cannot buy certain things” Well… If you want euphoria which will shake all your cells, take away stress from your groin area with the feeling of waking up, never taking off smile from your face – we suggest that you test Porsche. Therefore, money can buy it. It is up to you to choose your preferred model.
The sound of the engine perfectly composed to meet your expectations and senses does not neglect the feeling of carelessness, safety, stability on the road. We experienced that by driving Cayman GT4 RS. It gave us euphoria mentioned earlier… It gives you wings; your blood pulsates like crazy, your right foot hits even harder… Circle by circleBoxster Spyder, 718 Cayman T, 911 GT3 Touring-Package, 718 Cayman GT4 RS, 911 Turbo Coupé, 911 Targa 4S, 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4 GTS, Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, J1 Taycan Turbo S I, Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, Macan GTS, Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé, Taycan Turbo Sport Turismo, Taycan Turbo, Macan S III, Macan S and Macan S III went after each other. In one of them you feel more powerful, in another the seat is more comfortable, in the third one you get used to all controls… and in each one, the steering wheel is there like tailor-made for you, so you want it to last.
During the first coffee break, somehow all ladies looked like having their heads up in the clouds, asking about new excitements. With another dose of caffeine, we went to slalom. Full of competitive spirit, we took a ride in a beast, counting seconds from the start and back to the pit. 718 Cayman T worked perfectly! Oh! You don’t feel the curves, the steering wheel seems to be turning around by itself, gentle feeling on the brake and gas pedal; it is not hard, it is natural.
Andrew was our co-driver and instructor here. Just like his colleagues who accompanied us, he is a superb professional. Andrew is from London, normally works as a stuntman in Hollywood movies. He tried his best to help ladies to feel the quality and power of Porsche. And he managed… Actually, it was Andrew who often exclaimed “gas, gas…”, which encouraged us to fully enjoy. He took us to Launch control – when in second 2.8 you reach the speed of 100 per hour! How to describe it? Hm… 911 Turbo S (PTS) “nails” you to the seat, and while heading to your target, you feel like you will start flying. You must be passionate for full experience. You should not try this if you lack self-confidence and adequate escort. Especially not in cars of another brand which cannot handle this effort.
After Launch control and another break, it was time for the off-road driving in SUV models. Driving over obstacles, holes, sand and rocks, up the hill, down the steep terrain… Our Macan held up all. In a gentleman-like fashion! Actually, on the dashboard of this model, there are options off road and downhill. If you turn them on in the middle of the highest elevation, when you stop, Macan will neither move back, nor will it rush forward down the slope. So, the conception that Macan is not for off-road terrain is just a misconception since we discovered that it was unrivalled and on par with Cayenne and other “cuties” whose comfort and the feeling of floating on the road are unbeatable.
Here are some fancy details. We love the designer of the interior of all these cars, especially SUV models. With each Porsche you also get “little things which mean a life to you”. Men would say fast, clings to the road, stable in curves. Ladies would say the same, but will highlight the buttons for seat adjustment, steering wheel controls, hand lightness on the gearbox, size of the mirror to check on make-up… This is included in the lifestyle loved by Porsche fans. All outstanding, first-class!
Phenomenal, adrenalin-packed experience and testing of PORSCHE EXPERIENCE, was complemented by our hosts who treated our ladies as guests in a seven-star facility, with fine dining atmosphere, gifts and entertainment, again confirming its impeccable reputation.
A surprise, like cherry on top, came at the end of the day. Each of us, including our most successful beauties in the world of fashion Džejla Glavović–Očuz, current head of marketing and corporative communications of Fashion Business Unit u Prevent Group, Belma Ljuta-Agić, executive director of eCommerce association in Bosnia and Hercegovina, Marijana Rajić, member of management and executive director of retail department of Holdina d.o.o., Ana Ćavar,founder and director of online BiH lifestyle magazine Bonjour.ba, Sedina Memagić, creative director and member of management of the company Alma Ras, Ljiljana Vasić, regional manager for BiH and Montenegro of the company Bambi, Aida Olević-Maljević, editor-in-chief of the magazine Ljepota i Zdravlje, Dejana Rosuljaš, journalist, TV host and influencer, and many other successful ladies, took a ride with the instructors, each of them one round at Grobnik motordrome. We have experienced drifting, safe acceleration to utmost limits, gentle cornering, soft speed reduction and stopping – they taught us how to drive. We were speechless. Superb… you must try it yourself!
Driving power and energy
This is the third year in which the event Ladies Day on track took place when the ladies, driving these phenomenal cars, make impact on the pushing of limits.
International community SHIFT by Porsche led by passion and dreams, made up of powerful and brave women who celebrate their roles – wives, daughters, managers, doctors, directors… – or all these in one. Because they are what they wish to become. SHIFT is also a community for those who know that Porsche cars are neither trophies nor toys, but a lifestyle, driving power and energy.
In the Central and South-eastern Europe (28 countries of the region) there are 384 female members of this community. There is a single mission – to change external perceptions about women, and most importantly, to treat oneself gently.
SHIFT by Porsche is a brilliant story also for the future generations of powerful women who will change the world while driving Porsche cars.
